TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland Residents draws to the attention of the House the request by members of the Blackbutt and district Tourism and Heritage Association Incorporated that the section of the D’Aguilar Highway, between Kevin Allery Bridge (Blackbutt) to the north side of the Nukku Bridge (Nukku North Road) be named Roy Emerson Way.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to re-name the section of the D’Aguilar Highway, between Kevin Allery Bridge and north of the Nukku Bridge, to ‘Roy Emerson Way’.
