TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of the citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House concerns that the State Government is now intending to collect the community ambulance cover through State owned electricity corporation billing systems.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to review the scheme as there is a range of inequities now appearing with the collection system to maintain the ambulance service is funded in a fair and equitable manner.
