TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the lack of training hours, on-bike experience and mandatory requirements needed to obtain a motorbike licence in Queensland through QRIDE.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to overhaul Queensland's current motorbike licensing laws and implement tougher regulations to obtain a motorbike licence through QRIDE in relation to age, driver experience and on-road motorbike training hours to prevent unskilled and inexperienced motorbike fatalities.
