TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that for most South East Queensland households, the State Government bulkwater charges have more than doubled in three years and will cost struggling families more than $110 more in two years.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to call on the Queensland Government to implement a price cap at the rate of inflation (March CPI) for annual increases in the State Government bulkwater charges for at least two years.
