TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the inadequate environmental monitoring into the brine output from the Tugun Desalination Plant. Our belief is the brine output is having a detrimental affect on marine life and salinity levels around the output pipe.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to introduce independent monitoring of the brine output from the Tugun Desalination Plant.
