To: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland This Petition of the electors of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the danger for pedestrians crossing the David Low Way at Marcoola on the Sunshine Coast, in the vicinity of the Discovery Beach Hotel Resort (Surfair).
Your petitioners therefore request the House to call on the Minister for Main Roads to approve the installation of pedestrian refuges as a matter of urgency to provide for safer crossings.
