The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to: • The Toowoomba Health Services downgrading of the Senior Breast Care Nurse (SBCN) position. • Recognise the evidence that supports the need for the Toowoomba SBCN position which Services SW Queensland (and Roma) to be retained. • Recognise Toowoomba as a major diagnostic clinic supporting the physical and emotional needs of women affected by breast cancer.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to ensure • Toowoomba Health Service honours the in principal agreement to fund the full time Senior Breast Cancer Nurse position and undertake consultation with stakeholders who support/treat women with breast cancer.
