Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House that Gympie Regional Council has become the latest council to ban fluoride from water. Fluoridation of water has been proven to be extremely beneficial for all people. The council has voted to stop fluoridation without any community consultation. The State Health experts should be deciding what is right and good for people. Water fluoridation should not be at the whim of a few councillors.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to create a statewide philosophy of water fluoridation for everyone.
