Take action to reduce hooning in Logan City
Eligibility - Citizens of Queensland3 and 4, 137 Parkwood Drive
HEATHWOOD QLD 4110
Queensland Citizens draws to the attention of the House high rates of dangerous hooning in Logan and the need for immediate State Government action.
Your petitioners note the former Miles Government’s commitment of $1 million to fund more anti-hooning cameras equipped with automatic numberplate and facial recognition technology across Logan City. This funding would have also supported the integration of Logan City Council’s CCTV network with the Queensland Police Service, and the development of technology capable of detecting vehicles without license plates.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to ensure the installation of anti-hooning cameras equipped with automatic numberplate and facial recognition technology across Logan City.
