Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House Premier David Crisafulli has moved, and the Assembly approved, a motion to change the standing or sessional orders of the Queensland Parliament to rule any motion or amendment regarding the Termination of Pregnancy Act 2018 as out of order. The order is a direct attack on the principles of debate and freedom of speech. The Queensland Parliament must restore the right to debate ideas. We the people want democracy in Queensland. Without the right to debate ideas, Queenslanders are voiceless. 

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to: repeal the order that bans freedom of speech; and allow members of parliament the right to move motions or amendments regarding the Termination of Pregnancy Act 2018.
