Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House its recent order to not allow any bill or amendment that seeks to amend the Termination of Pregnancy Act or any motion that seeks to express any views on the Act in the House. 

Your petitioners consider this to be inconsistent with the right to freedom of speech and the International Convent on Civil and Political Rights.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to reconsider its decision and ensure Parliamentarians have a right to introduce bills, amendments or any motion that seeks to express a view on any matter.
