Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the need for another high school in Western Brisbane. There are 11 primary schools in Moggill electorate and only one high school. The closest are at Kenmore and Ipswich, both at or near capacity. Limited public transport necessitates car travel causing severe week day congestion on Moggill Road.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to build a new high school to serve the western fringe of Moggill electorate especially Moggill, Bellbowrie, Anstead, Pinjarra Hills, Karana Downs and Mt Crosby with a growing population and a higher proportion of 5 – 19 year olds.
