TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the violent assault on a 15 year old girl at the Beenleigh railway station on 27 May 2022 which resulted in no charges being laid, but only a caution/warning being issued.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to enact laws that ensure violent juvenile offenders appear before a court to determine guilt and appropriate punishment.
