TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland Residents draws to the attention of the House: to the condition of the road surface of various roads on Tamborine Mountain. In particular Main Western Road, Golf Course Road, Guanaba Road and Henri Robert Drive. These roads are presently in very poor and dangerous conditions. Sections of these roads are breaking off in chunks and there are a number of very large potholes. The previous temporary treatments to repair these potholes continue to be irrevocably damaged and compromised.

These roads are used not only by residents but are vitally important transport and access roads for Tamborine Mountain, utilised by a large number of buses, heavy vehicles and motorists accessing schools, tourists attractions and working at one of the many small businesses on Tamborine Mountain.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to: urgently do all within its power to cause an upgrade of roads on Tamborine Mountain, in particular Main Western Road, Golf Course Road, Guanaba Road and Henri Robert Drive.
