Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House to the lack of economic stake that the Queensland government currently has when enacting lockdown. The overwhelming majority is taken up by the private sector, especially small business owners.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to direct that all politicians and any government employees earning over $150,000 per year are to take a wage cut of 25% for the duration of any subsequent lockdowns imposed in Queensland. This will ensure that we really are “all in this together”.
