Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the urgent need for traffic lights on the corner of Donahue and Ruthven Streets, Kearneys Spring. We the undersigned are aware of a significant community safety issue at the intersection of Donahue and Ruthven Streets which has created a hazardous situation for vehicle movements and pedestrians. The local community seeks a solution to this hazardous situation, which is particularly concerning for the residents of Willow Glen Retirement Village, local childcare centres, fast food premises, sporting facilities and numerous small businesses.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to take, as a matter of urgency, all action necessary to ensure the construction of traffic lights on the corner of Donahue and Ruthven Streets.
