Functions of the Committee

The Supermarket Pricing Select Committee of the 57th Parliament was established by the Legislative Assembly on 7 March 2024 as a select committee to:

  • examine the causes and effects of increased supermarket prices, and
  • identify opportunities to increase transparency in the supermarket sector for consumers and producers.

Submissions

On the 15 April 2024 the committee resolved to open a second round for submissions in response to its terms of reference. The second round of submissions closes Friday, 19 April 2024.
