Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the most recent round of staff cuts and closures in Queensland public hospitals and health services.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to call on the Queensland Minister for Health, Lawrence Springborg, to prevent the Metro North Hospital and Health Service Board from retrenching a further 1,000 nurses and other health workers and cutting health services in northern Brisbane.
