Queensland Residents draws to the attention of the House to the apparent poor performance of workplace rehabilitation by Nambour District office of Education Queensland. Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to ask the Minister for Education to (i) report to Parliament whether or not Education Queensland Nambour District complied, in the case of Marion Kelson’s rehabilitation program, with the standard of rehabilitation specified by Division 3 of the WorkCover Queensland Regulation 1997, as required by Department policy. (In particular, the report should explain how the Department has met regulation 69(4); and (ii) request Q-Comp to undertake a thorough review of Marion Kelson’s case.
