TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the inconsistencies of water charges by water entities between local government and within local government jurisdictions.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to call on the Government to instigate a thorough review of the new water entities' pricing arrangements due to the unprecedented cost increase between local government jurisdictions and to table all findings of the review.
