TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the Queensland Government's Main Roads policy 2004 that states "that along priority cycle routes, the department will provide for cyclists in road upgrade projects".
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to call on the Government to abide by its own policy and actively develop dedicated cycling routes in the Sunshine Coast hinterland as the major lines between our communities are State controlled roads.
