The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the state of road between Almaden and Chillagoe of which 16km remains unsealed. Your petitioners therefore request the House to (1) request the Minister for Main Roads to visit Chillagoe to view the situation first hand; (2) devise a strategy to see the road fully sealed within the next three years; and (3) allocate sufficient funds for the road to be fully sealed by 2012.
