BRISBANE LEGAL STUDIES YOUTH PARLIAMENT

The Brisbane Legal Studies Youth Parliament provides an opportunity for senior school students currently studying Legal Studies to experience first-hand Queensland's legislative process. Students will: 

  • debate a mock bill,
  • speak in an adjournment debate or provide a private members' statement about any issue falling within the jurisdiction of the Queensland Parliament.

The Youth Parliament is hosted by the Queensland Parliament, and will be chaired by the Speaker, the Honourable Curtis Pitt MP.
