The petition of citizens of Queensland, draws to the attention of the House the dangerous state of Caloundra Road, Little Mountain Home Park in that the crash barriers on Caloundra Road do not provide adequate protection in the event of vehicles going through them and the potential loss of life or damage to property as a consequence thereof and that no sound barriers exist reducing noise and pollution to the residents of the 200 dwellings of Little Mountain Home Park. Your petitioners therefore request the Government urgently replace the current crash barriers with barriers that will ensure the protection of life and property and put in place noise barriers to reduce noise pollution to the residents of the Home Park.
