TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the lack of a cycle track from Yungaburra to Lake Eacham on the Gillies Highway.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to incorporate a cycle track in the upgrade of the Gillies Highway between Yungaburra and Lake Eacham.
The Tableland population, visitors and Tableland businesses would all benefit greatly from such an initiative.
