The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the current Service Delivery and Performance Commission review of Goprint and our concern that this process could lead to job losses and loss of government investment in the Goprint business. Your petitioners therefore request the House to ensure the release of the findings of the Service Delivery and Performance Commission to AMWU and QPSU representatives, to allow for consultation and discussion before the matter is taken to the Cabinet budget Review Committee. Your petitioners call on the Queensland State Government to honour and fully implement the $6.5 million already approved which would allow Goprint to become a successful and viable organisation for the future.
