The petition of the residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to, • Queensland Health's review of Flying Specialist Services which includes a review of the Flying Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (FOG) based in Roma, • That four of the six options being considered by the review will result in SERVICE REDUCTIONS for women across Southern Queensland. Your petitioners therefore request the House to ensure, • No reduction of services provided by the FOG position operating from Roma, and meaningful consultation be undertaken with the general public currently being serviced in Chinchilla, Cunnamulla, Charleville, Biloela, Blackall, Barcaldine, Dalby, Emerald, Goondiwindi, Hughenden, Kingaroy, Longreach, Miles, Quilpie, St George, Stanthorpe, Warwick and Winton.
