The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the fact that Kenmore State High School is to shortly begin capping its student numbers and put in place a catchment area; this may result in a number of primary schools in the Moggill electorate (that are currently feeder schools of Kenmore) being excluded from attending Kenmore State High School. Your petitioners therefore request the House to allow families resident in Mt Crosby, Karana Downs & Moggill continue to be allowed access to Kenmore State High School and to immediately begin construction of a high school within this area (Moggill, Bellbowrie, Karana Downs, Mt Crosby, Karalee) to service the needs of the many children within this growth area.
