TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the inadequate nature of the Kuranda Range road and the Barron River Bridge at Kuranda as the main link between the Tablelands and Cairns.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to take urgent action to fast track the construction of a new road linking the Tablelands and Cairns, and ensure the continued use and safe use of the Barron River Bridge at Kuranda.
