Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House, the urgent need to ensure there is a dedicated slip lane from the Northbound Exit 41 at Yatala, allowing traffic to access the Norfolk Village residential community, without the need to enter the Yatala Industrial area. The dedicated slip lane to Norfolk Village needs to be included in the planned upgrade of Exit 41. Residents in the Norfolk Village community and visitors should not have to fight their way through peak hour traffic, which includes the industrial area traffic travelling to Yatala, just to go home when exiting Northbound from M1.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to ensure the Department of Transport and Main Roads include this additional, dedicated, slip lane from the northbound Exit 41 to Norfolk Village.
