Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the urgent need to upgrade the bus services between Beenleigh Railway Station and Ormeau Railway Station which includes services throughout the Jacobs Ridge and Ormeau Hills area. This area is identified as part of the fastest growing region in Queensland. Increased bus routes, an extension of hours and more frequent bus services are therefore essential for the provision of services to the residents of this fast-growing area.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to fast track the essential upgrade to bus services between Beenleigh Railway Station and Ormeau Railway Station, as a matter of urgency.
