TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents note the need for the Minister for Transport and Main Roads to expedite the business case for the Coomera Railway Station park ‘n’ ride, using the $15 million committed by the Federal Government on May 18th 2019.
As part of the COVID-19 Economic Recovery strategy, this shovel ready and fully funded project would deliver for the Northern Gold Coast community both by way of jobs and by way of 400 additional car parks at the Coomera Railway Station, when the COVID-19 emergency is over.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to fast track the business cases for the Coomera Railway Station park ‘n’ ride.
