Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the level of noise pollution in the Bald Hills (eastern side) area caused by the booming population in surrounding areas, resulting in excessive traffic noise from Gympie Arterial Road and Gateway Motorway.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to consider and budget for a noise abatement barrier to be installed along the Gateway Motorway and to continue along the Gympie Arterial Road adjoining the existing one.
