Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the support in the Hinkler electorate for public and formal recognition of the long and distinguished service of former Federal MP Mr Paul Neville OAM. Mr Neville represented the Division of Hinkler for twenty years until his death in early 2019 and was widely respected by all sides of federal politics. He is remembered for his passion for local communities, regional communications, the arts and his complete dedication to his work and his electorate.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to acknowledge the service and contribution of Mr Paul Neville OAM by naming the Isis River Bridge, "The Paul Neville Bridge". The Isis River Bridge is a road bridge over the Isis River south of Childers that was opened on 12 August 2011 and was jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments.
