TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House to the unsafe road safety conditions at Emerald State High School due to the age of the campus design and to the fact that the campus acts as a bus-interchange, meaning that children from Prep to Year 12 visit the campus twice daily to change buses. The situation puts lives at risks.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all in its power to ensure the construction of a new bus interchange zone for Emerald State High School and a drop off and pick up zone for private vehicles.
