TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the rezoning or allowing the change of use of the area known as Warner Investigation Area (WIA) to higher density.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to ensure WIA remains rural residential and not change the material change of use to higher density residential. This is to preserve the current character of this area including the protection of the wildlife, particularly the koala and wallum frog population.
