TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the need for the species bufo marinus (cane toad) to be included on the Declared Pest list. This species is heinously detrimental to local flora and fauna and must be recognised as such. Steps must then be taken to begin the eradication process.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to order that the Bufo Marinus (cane toad) be included on the Declared Pest list.
