The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House of concerns of the residents from 1928 to 1956 Anzac Avenue to be able to access Anzac Avenue in a safe manner.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to not install a "turn left anytime" sign and slip way on the western intersection of the future Lamington Road/Anzac Avenue intersection, in favour of a fully signalised intersection. This is to allow breaks in the traffic along Anzac Avenue which in turn will allow the residents from 1928 to 1956 Anzac Avenue, Mango Hill to continue to access Anzac Avenue in a safe manner. We appeal to the Department of Transport and Main Roads to include our request in their design and construction of this intersection.
