The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the extremely limited public transport options for stakeholders and participants who utilise or attend programs / organisations based at the Caboolture PCYC in Toovey Street, Caboolture.

Such programs and organisations include:

• PCYC;
• Lagoon Creek Café & Function Room (Social Enterprise);
• Better Together INC (Disability Service Provider);
• Caboolture Community Work Cooperative;
• Caboolture Disability Support Network Inc (Advocacy & social support for greater community inclusion);
• Reclink Australia (SQW);
• Lions Recycle for Sight Australia Inc (volunteering & Work for the Dole);
• Friends of Lagoon Creek (Work for the Dole)

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to consider extending Route 657 south along Browns Street towards Pettigrew Street and adding a new bus stop near the intersection of Browns and Pettigrew Streets.
