TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of electors of the Division of Ipswich West draws to the attention of the House the lack of bus stops located within reasonable proximity to residents of the suburbs of One Mile and Leichhardt along areas which previously had bus stops attached to the former Route 516.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House act to investigate how the removal of these stops has impacted upon elderly and disabled residents in the community who no longer have access to suitable transport options and the possibility of restoring the 516 service or expanding the current 506 service in One Mile.
