TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the inability of hearing impaired, hard of hearing and Deaf Queenslanders to follow broadcasts of Parliament (through Parliament TV) including live-streaming, and listen to our elective representatives.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to respect the right of Queenslanders who are hearing impaired, hard of hearing or Deaf the opportunity to listen (via sight) to our elected representatives with all broadcasts of Parliament, particularly live-streaming, with captioning.
