TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the desperate need for a multi-purpose indoor hall so that students have access to safe indoor facilities for sporting events, innovation and technology forums, assemblies and broader school and community events. Cleveland High School is in the unenviable position as one of few schools of its student population State wide without such an essential facility.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to take action, as a matter of urgency, to ensure the construction of a multi-purpose hall to meet the growing demands of the school and provide sufficient facilities so that students may prosper in all facets of their education, school experience and personal development.
