The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House of Translink Service 529 that services the Brisbane Valley, north of Ipswich.

Currently there are two different routes for Service 529. One service runs from Toogoolawah to Ipswich via Lowood in the early morning, with a return trip in the late afternoon, Monday to Saturday. Another service runs from Ipswich to Lowood then back to Ipswich in the midmorning, with another service on the same route in the mid-afternoon, Monday to Friday. This service leaves Ipswich at 7.32am, arrives in Lowood at 8.14am and returns to Ipswich at 8.57am while in the afternoon this service leaves Ipswich at 4.43pm, arrives in Lowood at 5.25pm and returns to Ipswich at 6.10pm.

Your petitioners request that there be two additional services be added to the Service 529 schedule, running Monday to Friday, with one service leaving Ipswich at approximately 9.30am and arriving in Lowood at approximately 10.00am then returning to Ipswich with the other additional service leaving Ipswich at approximately 1.30pm, arriving in Lowood at approximately 2.00pm and then returning to Ipswich.
