Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House their support for the development of an additional car park at Benowa State High School.
 
Additional car parking spaces would assist with alleviating traffic and parking issues in nearby residential areas; namely, Maryanne Street, Lambros Drive, Penelope Place and Evelyn Court.
 
Residents and the school community have raised safety concerns that stem from a high volume of traffic in an area that is not equipped for a large number of cars.
 
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to support the development of a car park at Benowa State High School which will alleviate traffic and parking issues in surrounding residential areas.
