TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the unsafe 80kph speed limit on Currumbin Creek Road between Pigabeen Road and Connection Road at the Robert Neumann park area causing danger to children and the senseless killing of the iconic resident geese and abundant wildlife.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to either reduce the speed limit to 60 kph and put up adequate signage or put in wide speed bumps to deter the excessive speed.
