TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House proposed plans to outsource Radiation Therapy Cancer Services at the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital. The Service provision should remain in public hands as originally planned, keeping with the range of public services offered at the site.
Your petitioners therefore request the House takes appropriate steps to keep this TaxPayer funded equipment in public hands through the provision of government owned, operated and staffed Radiation Oncology.
