TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the inappropriate location of the Southport parole office. The current location of the parole office in the middle of the central business district and at the entrance to a busy shopping centre is perceived by the community as unsafe. It also adds to the perception of crime in Southport.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to investigate options for the relocation of the Southport parole office to a location outside the central Southport area.
