Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the partially constructed Roma Street Pedestrian/Cycle Overpass resulting in a lack of bikeway connection between the Roma Street Parklands, the CBD and the Cultural Precinct. While the CBD is skirted by water front bikeways, bikeway connection and passage through from the north is severely lacking.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to prioritise funding so that this missing link, the Roma Street Pedestrian/Cycle Overpass can be constructed providing an almost entirely off road corridor linking Roma Street Parklands with the Cultural Precinct and the CBD.
