TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the urgency of the delivery of the next stages of the Gold Coast Light Rail.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to work collaboratively with Local and Federal Governments so that the connection with heavy rail at Parkwood or Helensvale is delivered in time for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and connections to Burleigh and Gold Coast Airport be funded and completed as priority infrastructure projects this decade.
