TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that Lawrie Street, Gracemere has become increasingly dangerous for pedestrians to cross from one side of the Street to the other, due to the large volume of ordinary and heavy traffic.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to install a marked pedestrian crossing and/or install pedestrian lights to protect our residents and visitors.
